Matrix is made in Australia by Imagineering Studios. We build accounting, CRM and planning software for Australian businesses — from sole traders to companies of around 250 people — and we build it the way we think financial software should be built.
Why we built Matrix
Small and medium businesses run on a patchwork of tools: accounting in one place, customers in another, projects on a third, and spreadsheets holding it all together. Each tool charges per user, so the more people who help, the more it costs to let them.
We think that's backwards. Matrix puts the books, the customers and the work in one system, charges once per business, and never charges for the people you invite — your team, your bookkeeper, your accountant.
And because it's accounting, we hold it to a higher standard than most software: a real double-entry ledger, posted history that can't be quietly rewritten, and periods that stay closed once they're closed.
