Matrix keeps a proper ledger. Posted entries are never edited in place — a correction is a new entry linked to what it reverses — and closed periods stay closed, so last quarter's figures are still last quarter's figures next year.

Is Matrix built for Australian businesses?
Yes. GST, BAS, ABN validation, the Australian chart of accounts conventions and Australian data residency are part of the product, not a localisation of something built elsewhere.
Can my bookkeeper and accountant use it too?
Yes, at no extra cost. Matrix is priced per business, never per user, so you can invite your team, your bookkeeper and your tax agent and give each of them the access they need.
Can I move my books from another system?
Yes. Bring in your opening balances, unpaid invoices and unpaid bills, and Matrix produces a reconciliation report showing everything agrees before you start.
Can I keep books for more than one business?
Yes. Each business has its own books and its own subscription, and you switch between them without signing out.
